USAIN BOLT | THE LIGHTNING BOLT
Usain Saint Leo Bolt is considered to be World and Olympic champion sprinter who was born on the 21st of August 1986 in Sherwood Content, which is a small town Trelawny in Jamaica. Bolt started testing his sprinting potentials in his childhood by running in the annual, national primary school meeting for his area. At the age of 12, he became the school’s fastest runner over 100 meters parameter. Many people still believe he is the fastest person ever and these thoughts have awarded him the nickname of “Lightning Bolt”.
Bolt won the 200-meter race in 2002 at the arena of the World Junior Championships in Kingston, Jamaica. He was also awarded as the world junior gold medalist ever. Usain Bolt belonged to an average family who was not much well established financially. His hard work and enthusiasm to be the best, creating opportunities for him to accept the critical challenges.
The upbringing of Bolt’s life career started when he was trained under the control of a new experienced coach, Glenn Mills, who constantly forced Bolt to compete with “Hard work and no Rest” motto. In 2007, it was the first time Bolt handed his mark in the worldwide challenges when he broke the record of 200-meter race and earned two silver medals at the World Championship in Osaka, Japan. This win gave him the power to put more efforts which allowed him to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Here, Bolt won 100 and 200-meter events and was rewarded by gold prices. This was the time when he broke the record of 100 meter sprint race and completed in 9.69 seconds.
Finally in 2012, under the training of his coach, Bolt achieved the power to break even his own record by completing the 100 meters race bar in 9.63 seconds which was totally insane. After this great achievement, Usain Bolt is now the world’s fastest man ever.
He is also the first man in history to set three world records in a single Olympic Games competition. A living legend is still working hard to stay other sprinters out of his way!
