OLYMPIC GAMES | WINTER & SUMMER SPORTS FESTIVAL

           To increase the enthusiasm of sports inside every individual, the modern Olympic Games or Olympics are held every four years. Athletes from different countries join this marathon to achieve their goals by cultivating human beings and contributing to major world peace factors. These games are featured for both summer and winter season sports which include more than 200 countries, leading their professional athletes to participate in a variety of competitions.

Discussing the history of the Olympics, these worldwide held games were introduced first in the 8th century at Olympia, Greece. The general motto of these games was to develop athleticism and fitness inside humans and, growing their physical and mental health to complete with the modern changes in the environment.

            The Olympics include more than 300 different courses of games which gives rise to many athletes to be displayed in the International forum. The athletes between the age of 14 to 18 get registered for these sports. According to the research, there are around 14,000 athletes participated in every Olympic game and this trend is increasing with every game count.

            The recent 2020 Olympic Games which were being held in Tokyo, Japan were decided to be canceled for preventing the risk of a pandemic caused by COVID-19. Similarly, the opening event featured was also postponed which was known as the NIPPON festival. On Mar 24, 2020, the International Olympic Committee and Tokyo itself announced the delay of this event until the slowdown of this pandemic.
