THE RISE OF BABAR AZAM
A very well name of Pakistan cricket, Babar Azam has now shown up his class in the past couple of years. He was born on 15 October 1994 in the city of Lahore. A couple of days before he achieved a milestone of becoming the number one ODI batsman surpassing Virat Kohli.
In his recent tour to South Africa, he has shown a remarkable performance throughout the series. Babar Azam's recognition point was when he scored three consecutive centuries against West Indies in the ODI series and became the third Pakistani batsman to score a century in the 3-match ODI series, that was the point when the world came to know about Babar Azam in a more in-depth way.
Babar Azam is now the captain of the Pakistan team (Test, ODI, and T20I), he has up till now captained 14 matches, has won 8 matches, and lost 3 matches.
Pakistan is now currently playing a series against Zimbabwe in their homeland, and he is now looking to break the record of Virat Kohli becoming the fastest batsman to reach 2000 runs in T20I he is just 62 runs away to break this record.
