Erling 'The Terminator' Haaland
Erling Haaland is amongst the hottest young prospects in the football world right now, valued at $150 million (and a release clause of $75 million which applies in 2022).
The young Norwegian center forward started off his career at Bryne, and moved to Red Bull Salzburg in December 2019 to Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of $20 million (a bargain it turned out to be). At the time, Halland had already played in the U-19 World Cup 2019 (also won the Golden boot for the competition plus he scored 9 goals vs Honduras in the event), and even scored goals in Europe's most prized contest - the Uefa Champions League. He was, and is, also the only teenager to score in five consecutive UCL games.
There are several clubs out there to sign the Norwegian Terminator but Dortmund are reluctant to sell for a sum even a dime less than their evaluation. La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are keen on the youngster alongside Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Manchester United - from the English Premiership. For now, Erling is happy at the club and would be likely to stay I they can offer him Champions League football for the next season.
